Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery

The Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery Subcommittee has jurisdiction over Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction office. It focuses on preparedness, response, mitigation, resilience and recovery efforts; private sector preparedness integration; interoperability and emergency communications; DHS grant programs; and high-consequence biological and chemical threat preparedness.
