The Noble Research Institute’s Ecosystem Service Market (ESM<\/abbr>) Program is pleased to announce that it has awarded the contract to develop an economic assessment to Informa’s Agribusiness Consulting.<\/p>\n

Agribusiness Consulting is part of\u00a0Agribusiness Intelligence<\/a>, the leading providers of global information across the value chain, specializing in agri commodities, food production, seed and crop protection, fertilizers, animal health and policy and regulation.<\/p>\n

The Noble’s\u00a0ESM<\/abbr>\u00a0effort aims to advance ecosystem service markets to incentivize farmers and ranchers to improve soil health systems benefiting society. The new program is designed to be farmer- and rancher-oriented, focusing on maximizing sustainable agricultural production systems and creating sound social, economic and environmental outcomes that benefit farmers and ranchers and their families and communities.<\/p>\n

Informa’s Agribusiness Consulting team will engage with the\u00a0ESM<\/abbr>\u00a0Steering Committee comprised of multiple leads for the Noble Research Institute, nationally recognized agricultural producers, the head of a soil science research center, the sustainability head for a global consumer foods company, the leadership of the National Association of Conservation Districts, the head of a dairy industry firm, and subject matter experts in policy, protocol development, environmental markets, and business development. Informa will also work closely with Kieser & Associates, LLC (K&A<\/abbr>), who have been\u00a0awarded the contract for protocol development for ecosystem service market credits<\/a>, to create economic assessments that will inform the protocol development process.<\/p>\n

The combined expertise of the\u00a0ESM<\/abbr>\u00a0Steering committee and the Informa team will guarantee a national economic assessment that will provide a solid foundation to creating an ambitious new program focused on improving our nation’s soil health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
